Summer Growth Program

Get Ready To Grow

Welcome to our Six-Week Summer Growth Program! We are thrilled to offer an enriching and transformative experience for children from July 8 through August 16, Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 2 PM. Our program is designed to empower children by teaching them essential skills such as growing their own food, financial literacy, STEM education, agriculture, cooking healthy meals, and stress relief techniques.

One of the key components of our program is teaching children how to grow their own food. We believe that understanding where our food comes from and how it is grown is crucial for fostering a healthy and sustainable lifestyle. Through hands-on activities, our participants will learn about gardening, planting, and nurturing plants. They will gain practical knowledge about soil, composting, and the importance of organic farming practices. By engaging in these activities, children will develop a  deeper appreciation for nature and the environment.

Going Beyond The Garden

Financial literacy is another vital aspect of our program. We recognize the importance of equipping children with the knowledge and skills to make informed financial decisions. Our program includes interactive sessions that cover topics such as budgeting, saving, and understanding the value of money. By instilling these financial literacy skills at an early age, we aim to empower children to become financially responsible individuals in the future.

STEM education is a key focus of our program as well. We believe in nurturing children's curiosity and problem-solving abilities through engaging STEM activities. Our participants will have the opportunity to explore various STEM fields, including science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. Through hands-on experiments, projects, and challenges, children will develop critical thinking, creativity, and teamwork skills.

Agriculture and cooking healthy meals go hand in hand in our program. We aim to educate children about the importance of nutritious food choices and how to prepare healthy meals. Participants will learn about different food groups, the benefits of eating fresh produce, and how to create delicious and balanced meals. They will also have the opportunity to engage in cooking activities, where they will learn basic culinary skills and explore different recipes.

We understand that stress relief is essential for children's overall well-being. Our program includes sessions dedicated to teaching stress management techniques such as mindfulness, meditation, and relaxation exercises. By providing children with these tools, we aim to help them navigate and cope with the challenges they may face in their daily lives.
